A Man Sent From God

The opening of John’s Gospel Chapter 1 is found some of the most beautiful and profound verses paving the way for the coming of Jesus the Messiah. We are introduced to a man sent from God whose name was John (the baptist).

As believers, our job description and mandate is no different to John the baptist. That being to bear witness to the Light. That Light of course is Jesus. Our lives are our testimony, all giving evidence to the life changing encounter that we had with Christ. We too have been “sent from God” for this purpose.
