Arise And Build
Have you ever been stuck between vision and indecision? Within you is a vivid picture, a desire, a destiny and a hope, but there is something holding you back. Fear of man, fear of failure, overwhelmed by the task and the opposition that comes, we can become crippled by inaction. 
When faced with opposition and ridicule while rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem the wise leader Nehemiah responded: "The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build." Nehemiah 2:20
There will never be the perfect time to build anything in life. So, "Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37:5.
 

For I Know That My Redeemer Lives
In the midst of horrendous hardships, losses and affliction in health our Old Testament saint Job declared to his judgmental friends, “I know that my Redeemer lives and that in my flesh I will see God.
His unflinching declaration in the worst of situations silenced satan’s attack and proved that man can and should honour and praise God no matter what comes our way. Jesus promised that in this life and world we will have tribulation, but that He also has overcome the world. 

Killing The Old Man
When a new believer comes to Jesus in repentance and trust that old sinful nature is described as being also crucified with Christ. The apostle Paul throughout scripture speaks of this old sinful nature as “The Old Man”, “The Man of Dust” and “Flesh and Blood,” amongst other names. 
When as new believers in Christ we were given a new nature; A Christ like nature described in scripture as the “New Creation Man.” The old nature which we were once delivered from needs no renovation, refurbishment or face lift. That Old Man needs to be starved of all life for the New Man to Thrive. 

The Madness OF The Gospel
Governor Festus upon hearing Pauls defence and a summary of the gospel message (Acts 26) shouted out “You are out of your mind Paul! Much learning is driving you mad.”
When for the first time The Gospel, the ultimate Good News is heard, and the conscience being more than pricked, as the awareness of man’s dilemma without the saviour’s sacrifice begins to dawn; the first reaction “This is too good to be true.” Even madder still is man’s rejection of God’s salvation plan.  

Covenant Kids
In Genesis Chapter 15 God made a covenant; the most powerful agreement between two parties with Abram (Abraham) through a blood sacrifice. God Himself walked between the pieces of the sacrifice for it was His covenant. God would be true and is true to His word even when we fail.
Covenant is not just another subject in the bible but constitutes the framework for all the bible to be held. Gods covenant with Abraham was to lead to the ultimate covenant between God and man sealed with the blood of His one and only Son Jesus.

God Knows You And God Loves You
In an age where euthanasia, end of life options, abortion and suicide roll off the tongue, and even in the public forum, there seems to often be more sympathy for the life of an orangutan in the jungles of South America, than for an aging grandparent next door.
Do you think for a moment that God in His infinite wisdom, would place a greater potential, a greater value and a greater love in a tree or in an animal, than He would in you and me, who are made in the image and likeness of God?
This message is to convey the heart of God to the heart of man. The value of human life and worth in the eyes of God. The Father gave of His only Son, so that you and I could live!

The Lord's Child
 When it looks, smells and feels like that the death throes of Godly influence are gasping for breath and we ask ourselves "can the pendulum of the righteous swing again??"
It was in such times as these, that in answer to a desperate prayer of the woman named Hannah, God gave the woman a child. The child named Samuel who was dedicated to the Lord before conception. 1 Samuel 1
The reformation of the nation was born out of the barrenness of a woman, whose heart was fixed on God for what only He could do. With Samuel, God raised up leadership within a faulted system that would bring down the enemies plans in a fatal swoop!

Diamonds in the rough
Jesus Christ is the diamonds and we are the rough!
2 Corinthians 4:7
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."
This treasure that we have is JESUS, and we are the broken jars of clay, that the excellence of His power can work in and through us. However, we must BE WILLING!
