Prophesy To Dem Bones!
God brought the prophet Ezekiel in a vision and set him in the midst of the valley of dry bones. “Son of man can these bones live?” asked God. He then commanded Ezekiel to Prophesy ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’
There are areas in all our lives where God is commanding “US” to prophesy to that which is exceedingly dead, to hear the word of the Lord. Where there is no hope, God is still the God of resurrection life. In fact, for God’s power to be fully demonstrated it must not only be dead but also wrapped in grave clothes and in a tomb. ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

Resurrection Sunday 2025
Greater than the power demonstrated in the days of creation was the moment when against all the opposition and powers of hell, Jesus was raised from the dead, and defeated death, hell and the grave. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead; that divine and momentous act, has had eternal ramifications, and became central to the history of humanity in the time allotted to man on the earth. 
In God’s eternal plan of man being redeemed from sin, that same resurrection power is imparted when we repent of sin and believe in His name. The redeemer has a name, and that name is Jesus. The early church was powerful and could not be defeated because they had met the risen Christ. When you have encountered the Risen Christ, you can never be the same!!!

Good Friday 2025
Today specifically, even the world stands still and acknowledges Christ, Calvary and the cross of Jesus Christ. Each time we write the date we are acknowledging Jesus life, death and resurrection. It’s not something that we can conveniently erase by changing the terminology BC Before Christ to BCE. The date, however you write or say it, is only ever centred around one person in history. That person of course, is Jesus. The Name above all names.
Between the fence strainers of creation, and the end of the millennial reign, stands the cross. Foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved, it is the power of God. Between a holy and righteous God, and sinful humanity, Jesus hung as mediator and advocate . The instrument of death that has become an enduring symbol of hope and everlasting life.

Give God Your Attention, Expecting To Receive.
As believers, who can refute that God is sovereign. Yet, when our faith and prayer connect with God, heavenly interventions not only happen, but are inevitable and common. How do we reconcile then, that when we do rise up in believing prayer that God does move on our behalf?
At the gate called beautiful, a man lame from birth looked to Peter and John, gave them his attention and looked at them expecting to receive something. Expectation when looking to God is a major contributing factor to receiving. Our receiving from God is  only limited by our expectation. Is that arrogance? Some may suggest. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.

A Nation And A People At The Crossroads
Coming to the fore in the 9th Century before Christ to confront the wicked king Ahab and his wife Jezebel, was the desert firebrand and prophet Elijah. He challenged the king, his false prophets of baal, and the people, in a great showdown. “How long will you falter between two opinions?” It is God’s way of separating the sheep from the goats, and the wheat from the tares.
Throughout history and in every generation, there come ‘line in the sand moments’, where people are called and confronted to make a decision that will reflect a spiritual viewpoint. Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution released in 1859, sent shockwaves that still reverberate to this day. Abortion, euthanasia, marriage in Australia, and Israel, are all subjects which challenge people on what they really believe.

“Go Tell.“
After Jesus healed the man who previously ran about in the tombs naked and cutting himself and was not able to be restrained with chains, this man now wanted to be with Jesus. Who would not want to just spend time with Jesus having experienced such a great deliverance?
Jesus responded to this once untameable man, and told him to go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you. Jesus never instructed him to take a cert 3 or 4 discipleship and evangelism training course, but simply said “Go Tell.”  Need it be more complicated than that?

Has your passion for God, for His word, and for His people gone off the boil? Has some of the excitement that had once so stirred your heart, a flame that had burned so bright, become a flicker or even a smouldering ember? Take heed and take heart, for today there is a divine remedy.
Jesus’ charge against the church at Ephesus was that they had lost their first love, which is very much a mark of the end time church. (Mth 24:12)
King David, the man after Gods own heart wrote Psalm 51 while in the depths of despair. This Psalm is the answer for every believer to restore a full relationship with God, with a white hot passion for Him

Let God Arise!
Many times in life we are waiting for God to intervene and to come down into our lives and circumstances. God, however, having come down by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, and having also infused the believer with that same Holy Spirit, is waiting for us to come up and “Arise.”
At the cross, Jesus said ‘It is finished.” If salvation is healing, deliverance and prosperity, then God is finished with sickness, the devil and with poverty. Jesus, having dispensed His blood, has no further blood to shed, for all has been accomplished. Are we, as the end time church now going to “Arise?” That is the question.

Psalm 19 begins with the heavens declaring the glory of God. In every language God speaks without words, needing no translation and creation calling out to the pinnacle of His creation and declaring “I Am God.”
What can be greater than God’s creation, the sun, the moon and the trillions of stars? As a master painter puts his signature to the canvas, God too reveals He is the author of all creation as it was brought into being by His Word. Jesus is The Word, the ultimate revelation of God to man.
